CHORUS

HORSESHOE CLUB

A fun, informal singing group!  It meets every Thursday mourning at 9 A.M. in the ChitChat room.   Com and join this fun relaxed singing group.  We will be practicing new and exciting songs for the Concert Dec 12th. I got my edjakashun out behind the barn.  I learned all kinds of things back there.  I liked horse-in around better than anything.  I was a kollej atheleet --- that's why I like to pitch horseshoes.
Everybody has their point of view of what they like to do.  On Jan 25th our horseshoe team had a vision to horse around with View Point Park Team, so we went there and played with them.  They won the singles but we won the doubles.  The outstanding pitchers in our team were; Woody, pitched the high game of 70, in the singles.  In the doubles, Carl Noel / Joe Goldman, pitched the high game of 62.
on Feb 8th we play Trailer Village there.  Come watch our own Lost Dutchman Horseshoe tournament on the 4th and 5th.     ----- Keep on Pitching ---- Woody

JAZZERCISE

"Hey! Were you been ???"  Recognize that?  Well --- you should be at Jazzercise in the hall from 8:30 to 9:00 A.M. with the rest of us, trying to keep our hearts and bodies in shape.  Join us for 1/2 hr of exercise to music.  It's easy, it's fun and anyone can do it.  Give it a try.  Bring a rug or a mat and a friend.

DANCE REPORT

CACTUS KICKERS

Another great dance with the ARIZONA RHYTHM RANGERS!  We had double the people on the floor this week for the "Butterfly".  Wasn't it fun?  Be sure to attend their show in the Hall on February 16th.  Their program showcases their individual talents including Bob Merchant's great voice and Don Plato's fabulous fingers on many instruments.  A big Thank you to Jene and Bill Stiff for helping the Committee hosts.  Thank you to the "Jam Session Angles" for all your help.

This week we will dance to MARTY & CLARA with your hosts Bev & Len Widiger.   MARTY & CLARA play a variety of very danceable music.  As usual, tickets will be $3.00 in advance and $3.50 at the door.
The Canyon Lake Marina Trail was enjoyed by 17 Rock Shadows hikers last week.  Tom took the lead and TEC was Hank.
Friday, Feb. 4th the hike will be from First Water Trailhead to Parker Pass.  All Rock Shadows residents and Guests are invited to come along on these hikes.  We meet about 7:45 AM on Friday mornings in front of the Rec. Hall.  We car pool to the trail heads.
